Bank of Valletta p.l.c. has announced the issuance of €100,000,000 in 5% Unsecured Bonds, redeemable between 2029 and 2034. Each bond carries a nominal value of €100 and will be redeemable at par.

Operating primarily in Malta alongside its subsidiaries, the Bank is a commercial institution engaged in activities that are generally licensable and regulated under both domestic and EU financial regulatory frameworks.
Use of Proceeds
The net proceeds from each issue of Bonds will be used to further strengthen the MREL and/or capital base of the Group, as the case may be, which will allow the Issuer to increase its lending book and expand the investment horizon of its proprietary investments, and for the general financing purposes of the Group.
How to Apply:
The bond offer is open to Existing Bondholders, Existing Shareholders, BOV Employees, Professional Clients and Eligible Counterparties (collectively the ‘Preferred Applicants’) along with the general public.
There are no fees to apply, this includes both nominee and non-nominee (certificated) applications.
