To qualify for an all-expense paid trip use Moneybase Mastercard®, the Moneybase Mastercard holder is required to effect at least one (1) retail transaction using any Moneybase Mastercard during the promotion period. Every card transaction during the period of promotion corresponds to one participation in the draw.
The prize draw for the winners will be announced on Bay Radio during the Bay Breakfast and Bay Drive programms in the period between 2nd October and 6th October.;
The drawn cardholders will be contacted and must answer a skill-based question to win the Prize, The individual cardholders whose names will be drawn will have the chance to win one of the three travel packages for two persons each, to watch one of the three UEFA Champions League Group Stages 2023/24 football matches respectively. The travel packages include flights and accommodation. Tickets are courtesy of Mastercard, the Official Sponsor of the UEFA Champions League.
Terms and Conditions
The promotion
- The promotion will run from 04th September till 1st October, (hereunder referred to as “The Promotion Period”), and the winners will be announced on Bay Radio during the Bay Breakfast and Bay Drive programs in the period between 2nd October and 6th October. The promotion consists of a prize draw which is open to Maltese residents who are in possession of any Moneybase Mastercard. Any transactions carried out online or in-store during the promotion period, using the physical or virtual Moneybase Mastercard, are eligible.
Eligibility
- To be eligible for the prize draw, the Moneybase Mastercard holder is required to effect at least one (1) retail transaction using any Moneybase Mastercard during the promotion period. Every card transaction during the Period of Promotion corresponds to one participation to the draw. Transactions effected at ATMs and other Quasi-Cash transactions (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of your Card) and transfers carried out with the card—i.e., using the card as a source to fund any other account or payment instrument—are excluded from the promotion; Customers who get a new Moneybase Mastercard and use the card during the promotion period will also be eligible to participate in the prize draw; There is no limit as to the number of entries.
Prize Draw
- The prize draw for the winners will be announced on Bay Radio during the Bay Breakfast and Bay Drive programs in the period between 2nd October and 6th October.;
- The drawn cardholders will be contacted and must answer a skill-based question to win the Prize;
- A customer is only eligible to win one (1) Prize;
- The individual cardholders whose names will be drawn will have the chance to win one (1) of the three (3) at maximum travel packages for two (2) persons each, to watch one (1) of the three (3) at maximum UEFA Champions League Group Stages 2023/24 football matches respectively. The travel packages include flights and accommodation

- Prize winners will be informed within a week of the prize draw and may be required to attend a promotional event covered by the press;
- Moneybase reserves the right to publish the names of the winning customers in the local media and/or on its website;
- Prizes are not transferable to another individual and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives;
- If the Prize remains uncollected and unclaimed within five (5) days of notice to the cardholder, the Prize will be forfeited;
- Cards are subject to the terms and conditions issued by Moneybase from time to time;
- Moneybase reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any technical or commercial reasons in its discretion and without prior notice.
- The details of each winner (full name, phone number, e-mail address) will be given by Moneybase to the travel agency to arrange the flight tickets and accommodation. The details (full name, date of birth, place of birth, nationality, e-mail address, region of residence if not Maltese) of the winners and their guests’ / escorts’ ones will be given by Moneybase to Mastercard and its cooperating agency Octagon for UEFA tickets for the issuance of match tickets (passes) at the stadium. It is understood that after acceptance of the gift and provision of the details to the travel agency and Mastercard as mentioned above, no change can be made to the details of the winners and/or their guests/escorts.
