On the other hand, the AWS segment is involved in the global sales of computer, storage, database and AWS service offerings for start-ups, enterprises, government agencies and academic institutions. 
 
The company delivered a record performance in 2020, with annual revenue up 38% to $386 billion, marking a yearly increase of over $100 billion.
