The UK’s largest retail and commercial financial services provider with close to 30 million customers, the company was formed through the acquisition of HBOS by Lloyds TSB in 2009. It operates under a number of brands including Lloyds Bank, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and Scottish Widows and through three primary segments – Retail, Commercial Banking and Insurance and Wealth.  
 
The retail segment offers a range of financial service products such as current and savings accounts, mortgages, motor finance, unsecured loans, leasing solutions and credit cards to both personal and small business customers. On the other hand, the Commercial Banking segment provides a range of products and services to SMEs, corporates and financial institutions such as lending and transactional banking, risk management and debt capital markets. The Insurance and Wealth segment includes insurance, investment and wealth management products and services, as well as advisory services.
