Netflix is one of the world’s leading streaming entertainment services with 203.67 million paid subscribers in over 190 countries as of the fourth quarter of 2020 who pay to watch TV series, documentaries, feature films across a wide variety of genres and languages, including some produced in-house. The company operates through its Domestic Streaming segment which services members located in the U.S., its International Streaming segment for members outside the U.S. and Domestic DVD segment which offers a DVD-by-mail service to the U.S. 
 
Netflix’s appeal lies in the fact that members can stream its content on any internet-connected device, be it TV, digital video player and mobile devices, while they can start, stop, pause and resume as they please. Some of its most popular Netflix Original content include House of Cards, The Crown and Bridgerton, releasing an estimated 126 original series and films in 2016 alone, more than any other network or cable channel.
