We are pleased to announce that Moneybase IBANs now support incoming and outgoing USD and GBP payments for both personal and business customers. This update provides users with greater flexibility when funding their USD or GBP wallets for international payments or investing in global markets.
Personal accounts
Personal account holders can now receive U.S. Dollars and British Pounds directly into their Moneybase IBAN. Incoming transfers are credited straight to the relevant wallet, removing the need for third-party bank details and giving customers faster access to their funds.
Once received, funds can be held, exchanged, used for international payments, or invested directly from the wallet.
Business accounts
Business customers can also send and receive U.S. Dollars (USD) and British Pounds (GBP) directly through their Moneybase IBAN, making international business payments seamless and efficient.
Previously, businesses relied on third-party banking details to process USD and GBP payments. With this latest enhancement, incoming payments are now credited automatically into the relevant currency wallet, while outgoing payments are sent under the business’s registered company name rather than Moneybase. This gives our business clients a professional payment experience and provides greater clarity for suppliers, partners, and financial institutions.
Additionally, Moneybase IBAN will now be displayed as the beneficiary account for USD and GBP payments across both app and web platform, offering businesses a smoother and streamlined international payment experience.
Where to find your IBAN
To access your IBAN details, log in to the Moneybase app or web platform, navigate to your USD or GBP wallet, and select “Details.”
Moneybase supports worldwide USD, GBP, and multi‑currency transfers
While receiving USD and GBP directly to a Moneybase IBAN is new, sending funds in these currencies has always been possible. Moneybase customers can transfer funds to banks worldwide.
In addition to USD and GBP, Moneybase customers can send transfers in multiple major global currencies, including EUR, CHF, AUD, CAD, SEK, NOK, DKK, JPY and others, covering a wide range of countries across Europe, North America, Asia, and beyond.
Before making a transfer in another currency, you can conveniently convert funds using the Moneybase Foreign Exchange feature, which offers competitive FX Rates. Each transfer is routed securely through SWIFT, allowing you to make cross‑border payments to thousands of financial institutions across more than 180 countries.
