Founded in 1904 by Francois Coty, Coty Inc. is the world’s largest beauty and fragrance company. It develops, manufactures, markets and distributes fragrances, cosmetics, skin care, nail care, as well as both professional and retail hair care products through its subsidiaries. The company operates under the Consumer Beauty, Luxury and Professional beauty segments.   
 
As of 2018, Coty owns around 77 brands, including prestigious names like Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu and many more. Its products are sold in reputable retailers like perfumeries and department stores, however, its mass colour cosmetics, fragrance, skin care and body care products can be found in hypermarkets, supermarkets, pharmacies, e-commerce retailers and others.
