Yes. Moneybase holds all client money in safeguarded accounts that are separate from the company’s own funds. We do not lend your money or invest it unless you explicitly choose to. Your deposits remain your property and fully under your control.  

Yes. If you paid with your Moneybase Mastercard, you may be entitled to a chargeback under Mastercard’s rules, for example, if a merchant double-charged you, didn’t deliver, or processed an unauthorised payment.

To start a chargeback, simply contact our customer support team through the app or by calling +356 25 688 688. We’ll guide you through the process, request evidence where needed, and submit the claim to Mastercard.

Moneybase investment services are provided through Calamatta Cuschieri Investment Services Ltd, which is licensed and regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA). Client funds and assets are strictly segregated and reconciled daily.

In the unlikely event of insolvency, eligible clients may be compensated under the ICS, covering 90% of your net loss up to €20,000 per person.
