Calamatta Cuschieri Moneybase has announced a significant expansion of its free US equity trade allowance, alongside a reduction in US equity trading fees that brings rates as low as $0.25.
Calamatta Cuschieri Moneybase has announced two significant improvements to its U.S. trading offering on Moneybase. Trading fees have been reduced, with rates now starting from 25 cents for smaller trades and reaching as low as 0.06% for larger trades. Alongside this, the free trade allowance has been doubled: investors now receive 2 free trades per month, each up to $2,000 in value.
The fee reduction delivers meaningful savings across all trade sizes. A $120 trade now costs $0.25, down from $0.75 while a $2,100 trade has been reduced from $8.99 to $3.99. For larger trades, a $350,000 trade now costs $280, down from $350, and a $1,000,000 trade is now $600, a saving of $400.
The expanded free trade allowance builds on this further. Previously, users received 1 free trade per month up to $1,000. The updated offer provides 2 free trades per month, each up to $2,000, bringing the maximum monthly free trade value to $4,000. Subsequent trades are charged at the updated rate starting from $0.25.
Together, the two changes reflect a consistent direction; reducing the cost of investing in global markets for everyday investors, without adding any hidden charges.
