Tuesdays just got a little more rewarding. Starting 5 May 2026, Moneybase is collaborating with Mastercard for Mastercard Day, a new cashback initiative that rewards you every Tuesday for your regular supermarket shopping.
What is Mastercard Day?
Mastercard Day is a new cashback programme launching across Malta for the first time. Every Tuesday between 5 May and 30 June 2026, each eligible Moneybase Mastercard user can earn up to €10 cashback per card on a total spend of €50 or more at supermarkets and grocery shops, whether in-store or online.
How does it work?
Shop on a Tuesday
Use your Moneybase Mastercard at any supermarket or grocery shop
Reach €50 in total spend
This can be across multiple purchases made on Tuesdays within the same month.
Get up to €10 back per card each month
The offer is valid for each Mastercard you use, which means up to €20 per card across the promotion.
No sign-up, no app activation, no code. Be amongst the first to spend €50 at grocery stores and supermarkets and the cashback will appear in your Moneybase account as “MastercardDay Cashback”.
Dates to save
The promotion runs across two months from May – June 2026, every Tuesday.
A few things to keep in mind
- Only purchases made on Tuesdays at supermarkets and grocery shops count
- Cashback is available on a first-come, first-served basis
- Spending from one month cannot carry over to the next
- Deliveries via third-party marketplaces (e.g. Wolt, Bolt Food) are not included
