Keeping your business accounting records up to date often involves manual uploads, disconnected tools, and unnecessary admin.
To address this, we have introduced an integration with Xero for our Moneybase Business users. You can now connect your Moneybase Business account to Xero and automatically sync your account statements.
This means that instead of exporting statements and uploading them into your accounting software, your financial data is automatically sent directly from Moneybase to Xero. Your records remain up to date without additional steps, creating a more consistent flow of information between the two platforms.

Reducing manual work as your business grows
As transaction volumes increase, these manual processes often become more time-consuming and harder to manage. By removing the need for repeated uploads and checks, the new Xero integration reduces the operational overhead associated with maintaining accurate records. This also lowers the risk of missing or duplicated data, particularly for businesses handling frequent transactions.
With this data flowing directly into Xero, your accountants and finance teams can work with more reliable and up-to-date information. This reduces the need for back-and-forth file sharing and makes it easier to review transactions, prepare reports, and manage ongoing accounting requirements.
Connecting Xero to your Moneybase Business account is straightforward. Follow our step-by-step guide to connect your account and sync your wallets in a few minutes.
What this includes today and what’s coming next
This first phase of the integration focuses on the automatic syncing of account statements, addressing one of the most common manual steps in accounting workflows. It provides a foundation for improving visibility and reducing administrative effort.
In the next phase, we will extend the integration to include invoice and bank transaction uploads. This will further support reconciliation processes and continue reducing the need for manual input within Xero.
