Terms and Conditions for the iPhone 16 Giveaway
1. Eligibility
1.1. This giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open to students who are aged between 16 and 24 years old, who are legal residents in Malta.
1.2. Participants must be enrolled in a local educational institution and must receive their stipend through a Moneybase account to be eligible.
1.3. Employees of Moneybase, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally associated with the Giveaway are not eligible to participate.
2. How to Enter
2.1. To enter, participants must:
– Download the Moneybase App, available on iOS and Android.
– Set up their account and complete the identity verification process.
– Use the Moneybase MT IBAN to apply for the Maintenance Grant.
2.2. Entries are valid only when the participant receives their first stipend into their Moneybase account.
3. Giveaway Details
3.1. Three winners will be selected randomly from eligible participants.
3.2. The iPhone 16 being awarded will be the lowest storage option available. Color and storage preferences cannot be guaranteed due to supply limitations and can’t be exchanged for cash or credit note.
3.3. If the iPhone 16 is not yet released at the time of the Giveaway, winners will be notified and will receive the iPhone 16 once it is available locally. If the winners do not wish to wait for the device, they may choose to downgrade to the iPhone 15. No cash refund or credit note will be provided if the winner opts for the downgrade.
3.4. In the event that Apple announces a differently named phone model (e.g., iPhone 17) the, winners will receive the latest available mobile device in 2024 of the lowest value.
4. Winner Selection and Notification
4.1. Winners will be announced on the 18th December 2024.
4.2. Winners will be contacted via the contact details provided in their Moneybase account.
4.3. If a winner does not respond within 7 days of being notified, Moneybase reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
5. Publicity
5.1. Winners must agree to have their photo taken and posted on Moneybase’s social media platforms. Winners will not be tagged in these posts.
6. General Conditions
6.1. Participants agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
6.2. Moneybase reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Terms and Conditions of the giveaway, Moneybase app or tampers with the entry process.
6.3. Moneybase is not responsible for any technical issues or errors related to the participation in the Giveaway.
6.4. By participating, entrants agree to these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Moneybase, which are final and binding.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. Moneybase shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage of any kind resulting from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize.
8. Privacy
8.1. Personal information collected during the Giveaway will be used in accordance with Moneybase’s privacy policy.
9. Modification or Termination
9.1. Moneybase reserves the right to modify or terminate the Giveaway at its discretion if circumstances beyond its control require such action.
